KPS and CAS Danfoss temperature and pressure switches - special attention has been given to meeting demands for a high level of enclosure, robust, compact construction and resistance to shock and vibration
Danfoss RT pressure and temperature switch – the RT is highly valued by our customers for its reliability, simple design, accuracy and durability. Designed to match the majority of land and sea applications, it’s suitable for more applications than any other ON/OFF control product.
Danfoss MBC pressure and temperature switch – focusing on the marine market, the MBC 8100 is approved by nine major shipping authorities. With the ability to go up to 400 bar, it is also suitable for hydraulic applications and is compliant with most sea and land applications. The MBC is a compact, space-saving solution, and features excellent vibration and shock resistance to increase the reliability of the entire system.
MARITIME TEMPERATURE SENSORS
Danfoss temperature sensors designed for marine applications include:
MBT 153 - a heavy-duty temperature sensor that can be used for controlling cooling water and ventilation systems
MBT 5111, 5112, 5113 and 5116 - heavy-duty temperature sensors that can be used for measuring and regulating exhaust gas from diesel engines, turbines and compressors
MBT 5250, 5252, 5253 and 5260 - heavy-duty temperature sensors that can be used for controlling cooling water, lubrication oil, hydraulic oil and refrigeration plants
MBT 5310 - a marine approved temperature sensor specially designed for measuring bearing temperatures
MBT 5410 - a heavy-duty temperature sensor that can be used for controlling freezing installations and room temperature
MARINE PRESSURE TRANSMITTERS
Danfoss pressure transmitters designed for marine applications include:
MBS 33M, 3100 (compact) and 5100 (block type) and EMP 2 - ship-approved pressure transmitters, designed for use in almost all marine applications; offer reliable pressure measurement, even under harsh environmental conditions.
MBS 3150 compact ship approved pressure transmitter is designed for use in marine applications with severe medium influences like cavitation, liquid hammer or pressure peaks and offers a reliable pressure measurement, even under harsh environmental conditions.
MBS 5150 - ship-approved high accuracy pressure transmitter in a box design, for use in marine applications with severe medium influences like cavitation, liquid hammer or pressure peaks.
The test and isolation valves MBV 2000, MBV 3000 and MBV 5000 are designed for mounting with MBS pressure transmitters and MBC pressure switches. The test valves give the ability to test the operating control through the test connection. The isolation valves automatically close when a transmitter is removed.
SOLENOID VALVES FOR SHIP FLUID AND GAS CONTROL
Danfoss solenoid valves are the perfect solution for applications where space is limited. And the valve coils are available in either 24 or 12 volt direct current versions for the marine industry, or as alternating current versions to suit a variety of applications in other industries.

Danfoss solenoid valve range includes:
EV224B for high-pressure air up to 40 bars - available in NC and NO version, for example for fast speed up of turbochargers (jet assist), but also for start air devices with or without manual emergency push button; is also especially suitable for high-pressure start air compressors.
EV250B with assisted lift can operate from zero and up to 10 bar differential pressure. Valve body in dezincification resistant brass for ensuring a long life even in connection with aggressive steam media.
EV310B as pilot valve for start air devices - a specially designed manual push button secures a reliable emergency start when the power supply is gone
